Wetaskiwin Mall ~ Tender Hearts Toy Drive

Christmas was made even merrier this year thanks to the generosity of everyone who participated in the 2018 Tender Hearts Toy Drive. Approximately 130 generous donors channeled their inner Secret Santa to bring extra cheer under the tree to needy families in the Wetaskiwin area.

A variety of Community Family Support Agency clients and families benefited from the second annual program spearheaded by Wetaskiwin Mall. Generous shoppers and Avenue Living employees donated 130 toys to kids of all ages.

’Twas just a few nights before Christmas, but Santa found time to take a break from his workshop in the North Pole to make a special delivery on December 21st. Wetaskiwin Mall was well prepared for the event with milk and cookies, as well as carrots and apples for Rudolph and the rest of the reindeer.

Until next year’s Tender Hearts Toy Drive, Happy Holidays to all, and to all a good night!
